About the position

The National Auction Manager at Westlake Services, LLC is responsible for driving revenue growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with auction and non-auction partners. This role involves developing and executing growth strategies for auctions, serving as a relationship manager, and coordinating the needs of auctions to enhance floor plan volume. The position requires significant travel and collaboration with various teams to achieve performance targets and ensure successful auction operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new Auction relationships including contracting and technology integrations.
  • Collaborate with Westlake's operation and sales team to develop strategic concepts to increase floorplan volume.
  • Work with Auction partners to create plans that drive growth in Auction sales and dealer floor plan volumes.
  • Develop measurements for success including revenue growth and Auction satisfaction.
  • Engage regularly with Auction clients to achieve goals and performance targets.
  • Manage and resolve interdependencies and conflicts with Auction partners.
  • Educate Auction partners on self-service options and best practices.
  • Document activities and auction client interactions in required applications.
  • Promote auctions to the dealer base to increase flooring units production.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • 8+ years of experience in the automotive industry strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in the auction industry strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in the floor planning industry strongly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of the automotive and auction industry.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong time management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce.
