About the position

The National Sales Development Manager is responsible for the market introduction, expansion, and sales of automated and semi-automated paper wrapping solutions in North America. This role involves developing market strategies, building relationships with strategic clients, and leading client implementation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of market and sales strategy in coordination with the VP of Sales and Product Management.
  • Utilize experience in selling integrated automation equipment to create implementation plans for target markets.
  • Devise new routes to market and identify growth opportunities based on product and marketing affinity.
  • Identify prospects based on previous networks and client needs to deliver results.
  • Determine potential projects and acquire new customer groups while supporting and developing customers post-close.
  • Conceive, calculate, and participate in the preparation of offers and project management with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Grow and maintain national and international relationships within the company and with business partners and decision-makers.
  • Act as Team Leader from start to close of client implementation projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience with automated wrapping solutions and equipment sales.
  • Strong commercial mindset, closing skills, and hunter mentality.
  • Experience dealing with integrators, engineers, and operations managers.
  • Good understanding of different WMS Systems.
  • Experience in field sales or project planning with active customer care or management of parallel projects.
  • Knowledge of market development and sale of mechanical engineering products in direct sales.
  • Experience selling technically demanding and advice-intensive products to industrial sectors.
  • Experience with CRM programs.
  • Ability to plan and organize business trips economically.
  • Experience in preparation, implementation, and control of equipment implementation projects.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic sales personality with good presentation skills.
  • Conceptual, structured, and independent working style.
  • Persuasive communication, contact, and negotiating skills.
  • Confidence in dealing with different hierarchical levels and cultures.
  • High technical understanding and ability to explain complex processes clearly.
