About The Position

The National Sales Director is a key individual contributor responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy across all regions or national markets to achieve the company's revenue targets. This role focuses on consistent performance and growth, acting as the primary liaison with key decision makers at National Accounts and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Ability to create presentations for customers using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience managing project timelines and resourcing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy across all regions or national markets.
  • Follow the CSMI sales process with current customers and potential customer prospects.
  • Secure business and transfer to territory sales team after onboarding.
  • Utilize the CRM in all aspects of the sales process according to Central States standards.
  • Act as CSMI's primary liaison with key decision makers at National Accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and Managing Directors to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Act as project manager for all change control requests for assigned accounts or prospects.
  • Prepare and manage the national customer sales budget and forecast.
  • Monitor sales metrics (KPI's), analyze financial reports, and ensure profitability while maximizing revenue.
  • Manage customer rebate agreements for the company.
  • Apply and develop professional sales skills and ability to sell consultatively.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Involved in the credit and account establishment processes for new customers.
