About the position

The National Sales Manager - Aftermarket at Timpte Inc. is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing all aftermarket sales for the company's product offerings, including Timpte, Thunderstone, and Lincoln Marine. The position focuses on growing market penetration and maintaining market share through strategic sales activities and customer engagement. The role requires significant travel, up to 50%, to meet with existing and potential customers across the nation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage national aftermarket sales.
• Develop, execute, and improve tactical and strategic activities.
• Travel nationwide to make sales calls on existing and new customers.
• Maintain market share and increase market penetration in current markets.
• Develop a dealer and OE network.
• Create a strategic vision for new product growth.
• Analyze national sales data and take action to improve market share.
• Take a hands-on approach to execute sales strategies effectively.
• Develop a web-based product catalog to enhance customer experience.
• Responsible for sales forecasts and meeting sales targets.
• Implement special sales activities and programs to increase sales.
• Research and communicate new markets and product opportunities to senior management.
• Develop an understanding of competitors' product lines.
• Assist in executing marketing plans as required.
• Supervise and develop assigned sales staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience in related fields such as semi-trailer, equipment trailer, textile products, dry bulk commodity, or AG and marine related industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
• Willingness and ability to travel with overnight stays up to 50% of the time.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record and reliable transportation.
