About the position

Bestbath is seeking a National Sales Manager for the Commercial Channel to lead sales efforts in the commercial design and construction market segments. This role focuses on developing and deploying sales strategies, managing a team of regional developers and inside sales staff, and ensuring effective execution of the sales cycle from lead to close. The position emphasizes collaboration across functions and requires a strong background in sales management and strategy enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the outside sales team in generating specifications for Bestbath products in identified strategic market segments.
  • Manage and utilize our CRM to capture opportunities, create visibility to sales funnel and pipeline, and reinforce and support engagement of the CRM by our sales team throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead, manage, and support the inside sales team in locating, tracking, and successfully bidding Bestbath specified projects and qualified non-specified opportunities.
  • Develop and deploy sales strategies, measuring and responding to strategic metrics, and maintaining an understanding of the marketplace to respond to changing conditions.
  • Develop and report on sales funnel and metrics, including stage to stage conversions.
  • Provide appropriate analytics and KPI reporting of relevant data to sales team and leadership.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop and manage lead handling and flow.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support overall business improvement efforts.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects and deliver them on time.
  • Engage ongoing with clients, partners, and associations within key market segments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, design, construction, or a related field.
  • 5 years leading a sales team (on staff) of at least ten inside and outside sales representatives.
  • Active, established network of contacts in design, construction, or real estate development.
  • Documented experience in leading remote, regionally focused sales professionals.
  • Documented experience in management and optimization of CRM systems to support sales staff.
  • Experience in the building products sales cycle, from design specification through order placement.
  • Experienced in consultative selling and an understanding of coaching others to succeed in it.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge and understanding of market segments critical to bathing sales, such as multi-family residential, senior living, student housing, etc.
  • Previous experience leading sales in the residential side of commercial development.
  • Existing membership and active participation in a related industry association.
