As a Strategic Accounts National Sales Manager at Graybar Electric Company, you will be responsible for leading a high-performance sales organization to achieve sales, gross margin, and gross margin rate budgets within the Strategic Accounts organization. This role involves managing at least one direct account and establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budgets for assigned national vertical markets. You will be expected to meet or exceed assigned revenue and target metric objectives, demonstrating overall expertise in the vertical market by creating a clear strategy with growth potential. Your responsibilities will include attracting expertise and talent in the vertical market to ensure an excellent customer experience while capitalizing on maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and capital expenditure (CAPEX) opportunities at all accounts. You will manage national supplier relationships, business plans, and contractual agreements, recommending sales and marketing programs while setting short- and long-term sales strategies. As a senior relationship manager for key customers, you will coordinate customer efforts with all departments, including the National projects team and proposals and implementation team. Additionally, you will provide supervision through field visits, observations, and measurement of results, which includes performance evaluations and salary reviews. Your role will also involve establishing a companywide reputation of vertical expertise and demonstrating value by bringing new revenue streams to the Districts while ensuring national customers are satisfied.
