As a National Sales Manager for Data Centers, you will play a pivotal role in driving product sales, establishing strong relationships with key customers, and providing technical expertise to ensure customer success. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve product sales targets, collaborating on the sales aspect of the Go-To-Market (GTM) plan, analyzing data to determine sales potential, and engaging with potential partners to expand the customer base. You will also provide technical guidance and product knowledge to clients, prepare and implement market strategies, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities will be crucial for continuous improvement in your role.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a strategic sales plan to achieve product sales targets.
  • Collaborates on, supports, and executes the sales aspect of the Go-To-Market (GTM) plan to result in significant growth through channel partners.
  • Executes GTM plan and provides insight to GTM team.
  • Analyzes data gathered through the organization to determine sales potential, industry segments to focus on, and fast growth areas to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Prospects and engages with potential partners to expand the customer base.
  • Provides technical guidance and product knowledge to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products and how they align with client needs.
  • Prepares and implements market strategies that are in line with FTI's strategic plan and long-range forecasting sales model.
  • Collaborates with the product development and engineering teams to stay informed about product updates, enhancements, and new releases.
  • Collaborates with strategic marketing teams to create customer journeys and strategic launch plans for new products.
  • Prepares and delivers compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiates contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the company and the client.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to provide insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of proven sales experience, particularly in supporting technical product sales.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy industry, power distribution, or electric vehicle charging stations and familiarity with relevant OEM products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Salesforce or similar CRM experience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
