About the position

The National Sales Manager for Foundation Equipment plays a crucial leadership role within Liebherr USA Co., responsible for planning and executing sales and marketing strategies to achieve company targets for retention, growth, and profitability. This position involves driving the brand strategy, managing customer relationships, and coordinating activities of the Sales and Applications Teams to ensure effective market penetration and alignment with product strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates activities within the Sales and Applications Team responsible for sales activities with end customers.
  • Leads the team in developing and managing customer relationships in the US, identifying and developing effective business relationships for maximum market penetration.
  • Aligns LUS MCC efforts with product and market strategies of LWN Foundations Equipment Strategies where applicable.
  • Develops sales and equipment rental plans and budgets for Foundation Equipment.
  • Manages sales activity and business development for Key accounts.
  • Coordinates activities with the Marketing Department and/or Senior Management-Sales Support & Product Marketing, including planning and implementation of marketing strategy, advertising, PR, and trade shows.
  • Plans and implements customer retention and development programs.
  • Works closely with the Divisional Director to meet company targets for growth, retention, and profitability.
  • Plans, develops, and implements organization policies and goals for the Foundation Equipment business.
  • Manages inputs into CRM and SAM to support and manage territory.
  • Communicates actively with the LWN Foundation Equipment team on product, market, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent preferred.
  • Five to seven years of sales or marketing leadership experience or a combination of education and experience equivalent to 10 or more years in the relevant industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile and crawler crane products and the industry.
  • Strong supervisory skills and ability to direct and manage others.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
