About the position

The National Sales Manager will lead and develop an existing sales team in the Energy Industry, managing sales teams across the United States. This role serves as the primary interface between Sales Focus, Inc. and its clients, focusing on performance management, training, and achieving sales quotas. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of training sales agents in the field to enhance their closing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client kick-off meetings to ensure successful program launch.
  • Partner with recruiting, operations, and other departments to facilitate program success.
  • Develop and train the sales staff through ongoing training initiatives.
  • Track and measure sales representative performance against KPIs.
  • Serve as the primary contact between the client and internal SFI teams.
  • Conduct weekly calls and reporting to the client on achievements, obstacles, observations, and recommendations.
  • Manage program continuation and expansion efforts.
  • Hold weekly operational meetings with SFI executives.
  • Meet or exceed monthly team sales quotas.
  • Conduct continual training for each sales representative.
  • Manage the team to drive solutions for closing sales by identifying and eliminating objections.

Requirements

  • Preferred sales management experience in the Energy sector.
  • Experience managing medium to large sales teams on a Regional/National level.
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Self-starter with exceptional management skills and great attention to detail.
