About the position

The National Sales Manager (NSM) for Franchise A at AbbVie is a leadership role focused on the strategic and tactical development of sales initiatives for the Imbruvica and Epkinly franchise. The NSM will collaborate with various departments to enhance sales effectiveness and will report to the Head of Sales as part of the Sales Leadership Team. This position is field-based and aims to optimize the performance of the sales force without direct external customer responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales force effectiveness by managing and implementing sales systems, processes, and initiatives.
  • Translate brand performance into actionable sales strategies and tactics.
  • Serve as a liaison with Sales Operations for planning, execution, and communication regarding performance tracking and incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to develop and implement a sales force communication plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Consistent top performer
  • Advanced analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to examine the business environment and develop/execute strategies to enhance sales
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Oncology and/or Specialty pharma sales experience
  • Cross-functional experience in training, marketing, or other areas
  • Pharmaceutical sales leadership experience.
