About the position

The National Sales Manager (NSM) for Franchise A at AbbVie is a leadership role focused on the strategic and tactical development of sales initiatives for the Imbruvica and Epkinly franchise. The NSM will collaborate with various departments to enhance sales effectiveness and will report directly to the Head of Sales as part of the Sales Leadership Team. This position is field-based and emphasizes leveraging previous customer experience to optimize sales force performance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales force effectiveness by managing and implementing sales systems, processes, and initiatives such as National Sales Meetings and offsites.
  • Translate brand performance into actionable sales strategies and tactics.
  • Serve as a sales liaison with Sales Operations to ensure successful planning, execution, and communication regarding performance tracking and incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to develop and implement a sales force communication plan.

Requirements

  • Advanced analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to examine the business environment and develop/execute strategies to enhance sales

Nice-to-haves

  • Oncology and/or Specialty pharma sales experience with a high level of performance
  • Cross-functional experience in training, marketing, or other areas
