About the position

The National Sales Manager for Packaging at Fujifilm is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve growth in the Packaging business, focusing on both Analogue and Digital products. This role involves evaluating current performance, identifying new business opportunities, and planning effective go-to-market strategies to ensure sustainable growth. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage the sales team, drive accountability, and foster a collaborative environment that aligns with Fujifilm's values.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Packaging business.
  • Oversee the sales funnel for the packaging sales team.
  • Conduct periodic salesforce reviews of all opportunities.
  • Hold the packaging sales team accountable for meeting budgetary numbers.
  • Coach team members to accelerate opportunity close dates.
  • Review team members' performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Travel with packaging sales team members to assist with customer relations.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals set by the company.
  • Ensure the sales team provides an equal number of opportunities in both analogue and digital segments.
  • Develop and maintain a robust ideation pipeline for targeted opportunities.
  • Participate in customer demonstrations, trade shows, and events to promote products and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Champion an environment that reflects Fujifilm's values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
  • Identify emerging opportunities through industry research and customer engagement.
  • Evaluate potential business opportunities and recommend future investments.
  • Analyze project performance and track/report on campaign costs and ROI.
  • Monitor sales performance against goals and address gaps as needed.
  • Assist in new developmental projects related to competitive products.
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
  • Update market knowledge through educational opportunities and professional networking.
  • Work effectively with C-Level decision makers and develop strategic relationships.
  • Prepare monthly business reviews for senior management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the Flexographic and/or Packaging Industry.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Flexographic and/or Packaging technology and trends.
  • High interpersonal management skills for team leadership.
  • Strong communication skills: listening, verbal, written, and visual.
  • Ability to conduct effective customer/user interviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • Ability to interact with and influence various management levels.
  • Developed consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and evaluate revenue, pricing, and product adoption models.
  • Basic CRM skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid Driver's license and passport for travel.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50-75%.
