About the position

The Project Lead at IQVIA will oversee a team of five sales representatives focused on promoting diagnostics products and educating physicians about their features and benefits. This role is crucial in ensuring appropriate patient use of these products and involves significant interaction with both the client and the sales team. The Project Lead will be responsible for driving sales results, managing personnel issues, and acting as the primary liaison between the client and IQVIA.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview and hire Specialty Sales Representatives
  • Handle performance reviews, personnel issues, discipline and termination of Sales Representatives
  • Drive sales results in line with project goals as set by Client and agreed upon by IQVIA
  • Act as the primary link between the Client and IQVIA for all operational and human resources/personnel needs relating to the Sales Force
  • Provide monthly reports to the Client
  • Conduct regular field visits to develop and motivate Nephrology Specialty Sales Representatives
  • Assess and monitor field activity and work schedules
  • Monitor and manage field reporting by Nephrology Specialty Sales Representatives, including call reporting
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of training and periodic sales meetings
  • Review and approve expense reports, monitor compliance with expense policies
  • Monitor compliance with Promotional Program, and proper use of Promotional Materials and Promotional Expense Budgets
  • Successfully complete all assigned training for the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited school required
  • Minimum of 10 years sales management experience in pharma/biotech/device required
  • Minimum of 3 years of specialty sales management experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of nephrology experience preferred
  • Established relationships with transplant nephrologists highly preferred
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives
  • Proven ability to communicate clinical message with customers
  • High level of learning agility in support of multiple brands
  • Prior experience working and collaborating in an account team environment
  • Knowledge of the reimbursement and fulfillment pathway for specialty products
  • Proven ability to examine business environment, interpret territory analytics and team insights to assess business opportunities and drive sales results
  • Strong account management and superior selling skills focused on providing a high level of customer service
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50% within continental US
