About the position

The National Sales Manager for BOTOX Therapeutics at AbbVie is a leadership role focused on driving sales and managing a large sales team across the United States. This position involves collaboration with various cross-functional partners, overseeing communication strategies, and leading initiatives to enhance sales performance. The role is critical in shaping the business unit culture and requires a strategic approach to grow the BOTOX business through analysis and effective communication with the Sales Director and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Connect and collaborate with cross-functional partners on key communication and operating initiatives.
  • Serve as the communication lead for Field Sales, delivering key information to sales teams.
  • Develop a partnership with the Austin, TX customer center and their dedicated BOTOX Therapeutic team.
  • Lead sales efforts for the migraine portfolio, including above brand or internal co-promote initiatives.
  • Create sales and activity dashboards that align with goals and objectives in partnership with FFE and external partners.
  • Develop contest opportunities for selling teams that align with key drivers and are not redundant with standard incentive compensation measurements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous experience as a Senior District Manager is required.
  • Prior experience in marketing and/or sales training is preferred.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Dynamic leadership attributes to interface with different departments.
  • Advanced organization and administrative skills to execute programs.
  • Ability to influence and build rapport with employees and external customers.
  • Strong clinical product, customer, and disease state knowledge.
  • Comprehensive understanding of buy and bill/part B/procedural products and markets.
  • Bachelor's degree.
