About the position

The National Sales Manager will lead and inspire a team of regional sales managers and sales representatives for a roofing solutions company specializing in high-performance PVC membranes and roofing products. This role is pivotal in driving the sales strategy, enhancing technical sales expertise, and engaging with various stakeholders in the construction and property management sectors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for managing, training, and communicating with sales teams while developing sales initiatives and onboarding programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, train, and communicate weekly with remote national sales representatives.
  • Conduct weekly communication with regional managers and ISR supervisor.
  • Develop and present an approved Sales Story Initiative for Roof Consultants.
  • Continue development of onboarding and training courses for Sales Representatives.
  • Assist regional managers in hiring a blend of employed and independent sales representatives.
  • Identify strategic roofing contractors to fit the roof consultant profile when needed.
  • Identify and call on key national account owners and key regional owners for the purpose of accepting IB products for use on their buildings.
  • Attend designated trade shows and other organizations as outlined by management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CRO/VP of Business Development.

Requirements

  • Requires a college education and/or sufficient national sales manager experience with a similar structure.
  • 10 years of commercial roofing experience with a minimum of 4 years of thermoplastic single ply experience or a combination of roofing experience and industry supplier experience.
  • Clean driving and credit record.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of the roofing and construction industry and best sales practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce, MS Teams (desired).
  • General knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Ability to converse, read, and write in Spanish.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $150,000 - $175,000 plus commissions and full benefits.
