About the position

The National Sales Manager will lead and grow the in-house sales team at Maple Avenue Printing and Embroidery, focusing on driving team performance and building relationships with key clients in the screen printing and embroidery industry. This role combines leadership responsibilities with senior sales duties, ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets while fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive team performance by leading, mentoring, and managing a group of in-house sales professionals.
  • Act as a senior salesperson, handling key accounts and developing new business relationships.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, with travel requirements approximately six times per year, for about four days each trip.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership on sales trends and team performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven success in sales, with B2B experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of salespeople.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, with a passion for exceeding sales goals and driving team success.

Nice-to-haves

  • Industry experience in screen printing or embroidery is a plus, but we offer full training.
