Join our successful sales team as the Director of Sales for The Home Depot (THD). In this pivotal role, you will manage our existing products and programs while actively pursuing new business opportunities with THD. Your leadership will guide an internal support team and foster strong relationships across various internal departments to create strategic sales objectives, optimize resource allocation, and enhance business performance. You will be responsible for promoting our Air Compressor, Lawn & Garden, Fencing, and Animal Containment product lines at THD, ensuring that our offerings meet the needs of the market and our customers. As a National Account Manager, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at The Home Depot, focusing on delivering exceptional service and promoting future sales opportunities. You will oversee and execute all Home Depot Product Line Review (PLR) activities, ensuring that our products are well-represented and meet performance goals. Regular engagement with the THD MET team, including scheduling store walks and regional training sessions, will be essential to your success. You will also participate in merchant store walks, product events, and POG development to ensure our products are positioned effectively in the market. Your role will involve analyzing POS reporting tools to track product performance, creating margin analyses for new business opportunities, and reviewing existing programs quarterly to assess profitability. Collaboration with the IPR team will be crucial to maintain target in-stock levels, while your internal support team will help streamline processes and systems to enhance service delivery. You will manage new business opportunities from inception to execution, ensuring that all customer expectations are met. Additionally, you will monitor and manage THD scorecards, analyze current Planograms to maximize retail sales and margins, and identify new ways to simplify product offerings for increased profitability. Your involvement in e-Commerce initiatives with Home Depot will include content management and promotional strategy development, working closely with the MAT e-Commerce team to achieve online objectives. You will also be responsible for analyzing and controlling expenses to adhere to budgetary requirements, forecasting revenue generation, and participating in monthly S&OP meetings. Leading sales presentations at trade shows and creating an annual sales and profitability budget will round out your responsibilities in this dynamic role.
