As the Sales Manager for PUC North America, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding our underground equipment business in North America, specifically targeting the Infrastructure Tunnels and Mining Industry. This position is crucial for promoting our mechanized shotcrete sprayers and low-profile concrete transit mixers, which are key products in our growth initiatives. You will be responsible for direct customer acquisitions and managing dealer relationships, ensuring that the Putzmeister brand becomes synonymous with quality and reliability in the underground market. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive market studies to identify accessible markets for PUC machines, focusing on both infrastructure tunnels and mining sectors. You will promote and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major end users and consultants, to facilitate product launches and brand management. Your strategic approach will involve developing strong connections with decision-makers to effectively position our products in the market. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will prepare offers in line with the company’s commercial policies and collect vital market information to support Putzmeister America’s decision-making processes. You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with North American standards for our machines, which will involve technical discussions with our engineering team in Spain. Training and advising end customers and dealers on PUC products will be a key part of your role, as will establishing and managing dealers across the USA. Monitoring sales performance against the annual budget, managing dealer relationships, and attending trade fairs and congresses will also be part of your duties. You will be expected to provide CRM reporting and maintain the commercial image of the department while supporting marketing strategies for exhibitions and social media. Given the nature of the role, a willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) is essential, and you may also need to coordinate with teams in other countries as required.
