As the Sales Manager of PUC North America, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding our underground equipment business in North America, specifically targeting the Infrastructure Tunnels and Mining Industry. This position is crucial for promoting our mechanized shotcrete sprayers and low-profile concrete transit mixers, which are key products in our growth initiatives. You will be responsible for direct customer acquisitions and managing dealer relationships, ensuring that the Putzmeister brand becomes synonymous with quality and reliability in the underground market. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive market studies to identify accessible markets for PUC machines, focusing on both infrastructure tunnels and mining sectors. You will actively promote and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major end users and consultants, to facilitate product launches and brand management. Your strategic approach will involve developing strong connections with decision-makers to effectively position our products in the market. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will prepare offers in line with the company’s commercial policies and collect vital market information to support Putzmeister America’s decision-making processes. You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with North American standards for our machines, which will involve technical discussions with our engineering team in Spain. Training and advising end customers and dealers on PUC products will be a key part of your role, as will establishing and managing dealers across the USA. You will be expected to meet annual sales budgets, monitor customer solvency, and oversee the management and control of PUC dealers both nationally and internationally. Participation in trade fairs and congresses, along with commercial visits to dealers, will be essential for supporting their negotiations with end customers. You will also be responsible for CRM reporting and maintaining the department’s commercial image, while collaborating with the marketing team on strategies for exhibitions and social media engagement. Given the nature of the role, a willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) is required, and you may need to coordinate with teams in other countries as necessary.
