About the position

The National Sales Manager for the US West is responsible for supervising Regional Sales Managers within designated geographic areas, driving new customer activity for STEMCO products, and managing distribution in the assigned markets. This role emphasizes safety, respect, and excellence, aiming to foster a productive work environment while promoting the company's values and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Regional Sales Managers in the assigned geographic areas.
  • Champion new customer activity at the Regional levels for all STEMCO products.
  • Manage distribution in the assigned markets.
  • Participate in the organization's safety culture and continuously improve safety.
  • Foster a work environment that promotes mutual respect among colleagues.
  • Promote the Sealing Technologies and Enpro culture around creating value and driving excellence.
  • Coach, support, and lead Regional Sales Managers in work effort, effectiveness, and teamwork.
  • Enhance Regional Sales Managers' product knowledge and training ability.
  • Coach Regional Sales Managers in skill development to increase productivity.
  • Build rapport with major fleet customers and distributors in the assigned market area.
  • Conduct extensive business reviews with major distributors and develop business plans and growth strategies.
  • Travel extensively to meet customers, distributors, and coach Regional Sales Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Sales experience required.
  • Ability to travel required.
  • Must reside within the STEMCO defined Region.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience leading a sales force preferred.
  • CRM experience preferred.
