The National Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the business with the largest accounts in the industry, leveraging our comprehensive hauling solutions for the professional grade (Pro Grade) trailer market. This will be accomplished by building strong relationships with select, high value customers, providing insight and solutions to help customers grow their business. A key aspect of the role will be to ensure a best in class customer experience through direct involvement with the accounts and partnering with internal cross functional teams. The National Sales Manager will also identify and develop sales strategies to secure profitable, new customer growth for major accounts across a multi-state territory. In this role, the National Sales Manager will work directly with assigned strategic accounts to ensure exceptional customer experience, ensuring growth of brand positioning within these strategic accounts. The manager will service accounts by providing technical assistance, monitoring customer activity and inventory movement, evaluating our brands position relative to the overall business, and establishing a professional rapport with customers. Focused on share gains, this person will leverage internal resources to build and execute effective in-person market reviews by providing industry trends, sales techniques, customer marketing plans, application of products, and brand value proposition in various markets. The role also involves securing major new business based upon targeted markets, promoting changes in products and value propositions by evaluating results and competitive developments, and assisting with determining the cost effectiveness of implementing new products and product price points. Training customers on our products, their use, and competitive features and functions within the marketplace is also a critical responsibility. The National Sales Manager will leverage CRM & Business Intelligence management tools to assess the effectiveness of sales activities and work with cross functional teams to ensure growth and customer experience goals are achieved. Monitoring accurate Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales performance to targets by defined book of business is essential, along with planning and executing a well-defined travel schedule that aligns with sales targets and goals.
