About the position

The National Sales Manager at Terra-Vaults, Inc. is a high-impact role focused on leading the sales efforts for polycrete vaults across the U.S. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share in the construction, utility, and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, and the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers. Extensive travel and customer engagement are critical components of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy for polycrete vaults.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across various sectors, including utilities, construction, telecom, and infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, engineers, contractors, distributors, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, attend meetings, and organize site tours to demonstrate product benefits and secure sales.
  • Entertain clients as needed to build rapport and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Manage and oversee sales activities across the U.S., ensuring consistent messaging, support, and engagement.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competition, and industry standards to adapt sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and engineering teams to ensure the sales strategy aligns with company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a national team of regional sales representatives.
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and assist in closing large deals or managing key accounts.
  • Travel extensively nationwide to meet with clients, attend industry conferences, and engage in networking opportunities.
  • Organize client entertainment events to solidify relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the construction, utility, or infrastructure industries.
  • Proven track record of managing sales efforts and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network within the construction, telecommunication, and utility industries.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50 to 75%).
