About the position

The National Sales Manager at Gardena will be responsible for expanding the Gardena brand into the North American market. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to capture market share in the lawn and garden categories, building relationships with retail and distribution partners, and achieving strategic sales targets to drive year-over-year growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and growth of Gardena products in the U.S.
• Develop and implement strategies to capture U.S. market share in lawn and garden categories.
• Identify and build relationships with strategic retail and distribution partners.
• Achieve strategic sales targets and drive strong year-over-year growth.
• Deliver on sales targets and ensure a 5-star customer experience with Gardena products.
• Work closely with the Gardena Head of Marketing to deliver effective messaging.
• Develop relationships with key retail partners for mutual success.
• Utilize influencers, social media, and digital platforms to drive awareness and sales.
• Provide product feedback to the Gardena PD/PM teams for U.S. market development.
• Present progress updates to senior management, including sales and customer satisfaction KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
• 5+ years of sales experience with a proven record of sales growth.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including international travel.
• Current Passport or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• Self-motivated with an intense entrepreneurial spirit and effective communication skills.
