About the position

The National Sales Manager position at Henry Schein Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for the overall success and growth of large business segments operating under the Henry Schein One umbrella. This opportunity is remote within the United States, allowing for flexibility while managing a significant portfolio. The National Sales Manager will provide strategic sales direction and managerial oversight to both external organizations and internal representatives. This includes driving revenue, increasing profitability, managing compensation plans, and maximizing resources such as the HSD field partners, while leveraging other internal departments within Henry Schein One. In this role, the National Sales Manager will work closely with strategic partners who have reseller or partnership agreements with Henry Schein One. The focus will be on identifying effective go-to-market strategies, managing and growing sales opportunities, and ensuring alignment in collaborative sales efforts. The manager will actively oversee the financial success of segments by leveraging marketing, product management, implementations, support, and various other departments within the organization. Ensuring well-trained sales representation at trade shows and for day-to-day sales efforts is also a key responsibility. Coaching new hires on all aspects of their responsibilities and arranging ongoing training for teams will be essential. The National Sales Manager will work closely with the direct sales team to remove obstacles, improve processes, and manage sales goals and quotas. This position requires a proactive approach to managing market segments and aligning with strategic partners to grow the business and market share through improved sales team alignment and the implementation of strategic initiatives. The role also involves seeking to improve sales processes and reporting, managing CRM compliance, and resolving complex issues effectively. Participation in special projects and performing other duties as required will also be part of the job.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Eight plus years of increasing responsibility and complexity in applicable professional experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry practices.

  • Ability to build partnerships at all levels within the company.
