About the position

The National Sales Manager at Turri's Italian Foods, Inc. is responsible for leading and implementing all sales activities, focusing on developing and maintaining relationships with clients to achieve revenue targets. This role involves creating sales strategies, managing key accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sales, distributor, and broker relationships.
  • Manage quarter and annual sales budgets and objectives.
  • Guide sales managers in the development of goals and performance budgets.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and margins in existing accounts.
  • Assess market conditions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop effective presentations reflecting market trends and customer needs.
  • Utilize CRM programs to maintain account information and sales activity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • At least 15 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the rice/pasta industry.
  • Foodservice experience required.
  • Proven creative and aggressive sales management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales presentation, and merchandising skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of professional selling techniques and CRM software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the food industry for at least 3 years.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule.
