About the position

The National Sales Manager at Safe-Guard Products International is a results-driven sales professional responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities with strategic dealer groups. This role focuses on leveraging the company's industry-leading protection products to meet client needs and ensure alignment throughout the sales cycle. The position emphasizes new business development, sales execution, and collaboration with internal teams to drive revenue and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research prospective dealer groups to build a robust pipeline of high-potential leads.
  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions tailored to each prospect's unique needs.
  • Lead end-to-end sales processes, including discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and finalizing agreements.
  • Collaborate with the Client Services team to ensure alignment between Safe-Guard and the client.
  • Utilize advanced tools and techniques to engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by closing new business opportunities.
  • Partner with internal teams to design and deliver customized solutions that meet prospect needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and sales activities in the company CRM.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on sales activities, pipeline progress, and key metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a business development or sales role, focusing on enterprise-level or national account clients.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a hunting-oriented sales environment.
  • Five years of Automotive industry experience.
  • Three years of retail F&I experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and close new business opportunities with large, complex organizations.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage senior-level stakeholders effectively.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with the automotive, vehicle retail, or finance & insurance industries is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com) and data analysis to track and optimize performance.
