About the position

The National Sales Manager at Power-Flo Technologies Inc. is responsible for managing and expanding the distributor network for submersible, circulator, and de-watering pumps across the United States. This role involves building relationships with clients, leading sales initiatives, and developing training programs to enhance the sales team's performance. The position requires a strategic approach to sales management, with a focus on achieving revenue goals and maintaining strong partnerships with channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new account and dealer opportunities within territory
  • Establish positive relationships with all levels of the account, including buyers and planners
  • Develop and deliver complete presentations and proposals for accounts and territory dealers
  • Monitor expenses and spending to maintain margin standards for each dealer
  • Travel to meet with potential and existing clients, as well as field sales staff
  • Lead sales meetings to motivate the workforce and provide ongoing training
  • Work with senior management to set revenue and sales goals
  • Create and implement a comprehensive sales training program
  • Mentor the sales team and nurture relationships with associates
  • Create new programs to meet the needs of channel partners
  • Ensure accurate reporting on lead generation and sales efforts
  • Work with senior management to devise and implement innovative go-to-market strategies

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling products into the Municipal and Residential markets
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent industry experience
  • National Account level or equivalent experience
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, problem solve, and present information
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, gross & net margins, percentages
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce knowledge
  • Proven ability to meet specific, time-sensitive business goals
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
