About the position

The National Sales Manager at Arcus Hunting LLC is responsible for managing all customers within the Midwest and Western US territories, focusing on key accounts, distributors, and independent retailers. This remote position requires a strategic approach to expand the customer base and enhance the company's market reach while leading a team of external sales representatives. The role emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive sales growth and improve customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's reach
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
  • Management of all customers within territory
  • Manage and lead third party sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance
  • Ability to meet and exceed internal topline sales goals
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns within customer base

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience working in Sales Management
  • Outdoor/Hunting experience preferred
  • Experience with managing external sales reps
  • Experience protecting and managing best in class/category leading brands
  • Proven record of successful management of entire sales process, start to finish
  • Strong communicator, written and oral
  • Strong leadership/management skills
  • Desire and willingness to improve performance of department and processes
  • Process driven
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time
  • Bachelors degree preferred, will consider experience in lieu of degree
