About the position

The National Sales Manager will lead sales efforts for a small company specializing in gift and novelty products, serving as the primary contact for over 100 independent sales representatives and key customers. This role involves strategic decision-making, collaboration across departments, and representation at tradeshows nationwide, all while fostering an entrepreneurial atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for independent sales representatives and key customers.
  • Manage relationships with regional and national retailers, independent gift stores, and tourist destinations.
  • Travel to tradeshows across the USA to represent the company and its brands.
  • Collaborate with product development, design, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient service and product offerings.
  • Participate in hands-on tasks during busy periods, including packing orders and inventory management.
  • Work shifts at the company booth during the State Fair, transitioning from wholesale to retail sales.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Quickbooks experience is a plus.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
