About the position

The National Sales Manager (NSM) will lead and manage a high-performing sales team across multiple branches, focusing on driving significant growth targets while ensuring strategic partnerships with operational counterparts. This role requires a seasoned sales leader capable of executing growth strategies, providing hands-on coaching, and ensuring that sales goals are consistently met or exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, inspire, and hold accountable a remote team of 6-8 Regional Sales Managers and 60-80 Sales Consultants to achieve their growth targets.
  • Develop and implement a clear, actionable growth strategy for assigned branches.
  • Collaborate directly with the Regional Manager to ensure operational and sales alignment, driving profitability and market share expansion.
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics, recognizing success and underperformance early through using Salesforce.
  • Own the sales targets for the assigned region and ensure that all branches and team members consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Maintain strong communication with your dispersed team using virtual tools and in-person visits.
  • Partner directly with the Regional Manager, Marketing, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Foster a culture of recognition within the team and provide real-time coaching and training.
  • Drive recruitment efforts to expand the team as the company grows.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience, with at least five years leading large, remote sales teams.
  • Proven track record of driving double-digit sales growth in a multi-branch or regional structure.
  • Experience working in an organization with multiple department leaders and reporting structures.

  • A bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or other related field is preferred.
