About the position

The National Sales Manager will focus on selling to the North American Super ESCO market, targeting organizations such as Trane, Centrica, Noresco, and Ameresco. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with established relationships in the ESCO space and a proven track record in project selling and lead generation. The position involves developing strategic sales plans, maintaining client relationships, and promoting a range of products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the North American Super ESCO market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the ESCO space, leveraging existing connections to drive sales.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, acting as a lead generator and hunter to secure new projects.
  • Promote and sell our range of products and services, including LED, controls, solar, EV, thermal energy storage, and general contracting services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, including progress towards targets and key performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ideally, 5 years of sales experience calling on clients in the ESCO market.
  • Proven experience in national account selling and project selling.
  • Strong relationships within the ESCO space, with a network of contacts at organizations such as Trane, Centrica, Noresco, and Ameresco.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and market trends. Experience selling LED, controls, solar, EV, thermal energy storage, and general contracting services.
  • Familiarity with the NAESCO organization and its member companies.
