About the position

The National Sales Manager at Fuchs Lubricants Co. is responsible for leading the sales group across the United States, focusing on business development, key account management, and sales strategies. This role involves providing guidance to the sales team, managing key accounts, and supporting senior management with strategic insights. The position requires a strong background in B2B sales, particularly in industrial consumable products, and emphasizes collaboration and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the sales group throughout the US.
  • Develop business and sales engineers with a focus on new business and key account management.
  • Support senior management with strategic account management and divisional customer analysis.
  • Monitor progress at key and target accounts, ensuring accountability and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Directly manage 2-3 key accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Technical Discipline required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required, with demonstrated success in opening new business.
  • 3+ years' experience in a leadership role.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce desired), PowerBI, Business Analytics, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships across inter-company departments and divisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
