This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and understanding their evolving needs. The National Sales Manager acts as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition to client relationship management, the National Sales Manager is tasked with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients. This includes conducting effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions. The role also requires the development and execution of strategic sales plans in collaboration with the sales team and management, continuously assessing market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly. Achieving sales quotas is a critical responsibility, where the National Sales Manager sets and achieves annual sales targets by product and/or customer. Tracking and analyzing sales performance metrics is essential, providing regular updates and insights to the sales leadership team. The position also involves preparing persuasive sales proposals tailored to meet the unique needs of clients and negotiating contract terms and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Collaboration and communication are key components of this role, as the National Sales Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts. Additionally, the National Sales Manager represents Leer at industry trade association meetings to generate new customers and grow business opportunities with current customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and understanding evolving needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 3-5 years sales experience in retail, refrigeration or scientific industries.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales or account management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven project management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical concepts.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
