About the position

The National Sales Manager at Fuchs Lubricants is responsible for leading the sales group across the US, focusing on business development, key account management, and sales strategies. This role involves direct management of key accounts, providing guidance to the sales team, and collaborating with senior management on strategic initiatives. The position emphasizes accountability, adaptability, and the ability to meet sales objectives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the sales group throughout the US.
  • Develop new business and manage key accounts.
  • Support senior management with strategic account management and customer analysis.
  • Monitor progress at key accounts and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Directly manage 2-3 key accounts.
  • Supervise a team of 6-7 direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a Technical Discipline required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required.
  • Demonstrated success in opening new business.
  • 3+ years' experience in a leadership role.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce desired), PowerBI, Business Analytics, Excel, PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Lubricants or Chemical industries preferred.
  • Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships across inter-company departments and divisions.
