The National Sales Manager at The Global Ambassador Hotel is a pivotal role responsible for driving revenue and establishing the hotel as a premier luxury destination. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, focusing on achieving monthly room revenue booking goals as assigned by the Director of Sales & Events. The National Sales Manager will handle group blocks of 10 rooms or more on peak nights, ensuring that the hotel meets its revenue targets while providing exceptional service to clients. A strong understanding of the local and national market, as well as the competitive landscape, is essential for positioning The Global Ambassador as a top luxury brand. In this role, the National Sales Manager will merchandise the hotel's unique restaurant venue space and function, obtaining appropriate room rental and food and beverage minimums. The manager will proactively solicit accounts within assigned market segments and identify new market opportunities, developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve room night, average rate, and guest room revenue goals on a quarterly and yearly basis. Maintaining accurate client files, trace dates, and booking activity is crucial, as is fostering strong relationships with clients and local industry partners to drive top-line revenue. The National Sales Manager will also be responsible for developing and managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that the hotel's unique characteristics and luxurious amenities are effectively communicated to prospective clients. This role requires a candidate who is located locally in the greater Phoenix-Scottsdale market and is willing to travel occasionally as needed.
