About the position

The National Sales Manager at Omni Fort Worth Hotel is responsible for generating group revenue by developing new and repeat business within a defined territory. This role requires a proven track record in securing group business at luxury convention center hotels, with a focus on achieving revenue goals and maintaining rate integrity. The position also emphasizes collaboration with various departments to ensure successful client experiences and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Handle 151+ room nights on peak.
  • Adhere to all mandatory standards of operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed weekly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, targets, and initiatives.
  • Develop, actively solicit, and map group business accounts per defined territory.
  • Maintain a complete database of accounts in defined territories.
  • Identify and qualify potential prospects through telemarketing, tradeshows, and sales initiatives.
  • Maximize outcomes of sales initiatives by following up on leads and managing accounts.
  • Follow all Group Sales Standards of Operation and policies and procedures.
  • Convey rate and package information within approved limits to maximize revenue yields.
  • Demonstrate Omni Hotels philosophies professionally to clients.
  • Maintain customer, GSO, trade, industry, and staff relations.
  • Promote all Omni Properties and provide information to clients for cross-selling.
  • Work closely with Convention Services and Reservation Sales departments to ensure successful meetings.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to ensure effective Resort operation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of group selling experience preferred at a luxury hotel.
  • Prior experience selling a convention center property.
  • Must possess superior presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be well organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with Delphi/FDC preferred.
