About the position

Univision Sacramento is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead the sales team and act as a liaison between outside sales offices and television stations in Fresno, Bakersfield, and Sacramento. This role involves negotiating with clients, forecasting sales revenue, evaluating sales performance, and developing new business opportunities. The National Sales Manager will also collaborate with local sales teams and engage with clients on both national and local levels.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with clients and national sales offices to drive revenue and share growth.
  • Forecast national sales revenue by office.
  • Conduct evaluations of national sales office performance and national sales assistants.
  • Develop new business and set goals for target accounts.
  • Monitor progress of zero and low accounts.
  • Be visible in outside offices and manage a quarterly travel schedule.
  • Create weekly management reports on billing and call activity.
  • Coordinate with Local Sales Manager on accounts involving local and national sales organizations.
  • Facilitate the creation and implementation of multi-platform sales proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or marketing or previous advertising/media sales experience.
  • 5-10 years in broadcast sales and 3+ years in broadcast sales management.
  • Prior experience in the Political Media ecosystem.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing and executing new business in Agency and Retail Advertising.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of television applications such as Strata, Matrix CMR, and qualitative programs like Scarborough or Nielsen Advantage.
  • Valid Arizona Driver's license with a clean driving record.
