About the position

MukikiM Toys, based in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a National Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategies to new heights. This position is ideal for an energetic sales strategist with exceptional leadership and communication skills. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities and delivering effective strategies to generate sales results. The primary focus will be on providing the best service to Independent Sales Reps Groups and Customers, increasing sales volume with existing accounts, and opening new accounts through independent Sales Reps and direct contact. As a National Sales Manager, you will work closely with independent sales representatives to present our products to retailers, ensuring they receive the best training and tools to perform their roles effectively. You will manage the performance and productivity of these representatives while attracting new customers and developing new business opportunities. This role requires setting appointments from provided contact lists, cold calling prospects, and retaining current customers through consistent follow-up. You will also be responsible for making presentations to encourage buyers, generating new leads, and connecting directly with potential accounts to increase sales volume across various account tiers. In addition to managing a portfolio of National Specialty accounts in North America, you will attend industry trade shows to support independent representatives and maintain or initiate customer relations with attending retailers. Monitoring costs, analyzing margins, and ensuring overall account profitability will be key responsibilities, along with forecasting and inventory planning. A deep knowledge of all products is essential to make accurate recommendations to sales reps and customers. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with independent sales representatives to present our products to retailers.
  • Ensure that Independent Sales Reps receive the best training and tools to perform their role.
  • Manage performance and productivity of independent sales reps.
  • Attract new customers / Develop new business (B2B).
  • Set appointments from provided contact lists and cold call prospects.
  • Retain and service current customers with consistent follow-up.
  • Make presentations to encourage buyers.
  • Generate new leads and connect directly with potential accounts to increase sales volume.
  • Manage a portfolio of National Specialty accounts in North America Territory.
  • Ability to open new mid-tier accounts and grow existing accounts.
  • Attend industry trade shows in support of independent representatives and to maintain or initiate customer relations with attending retailers.
  • Monitor costs, analyze margins, and ensure overall account profitability.
  • Forecasting and Inventory planning.
  • Know all products in depth to make accurate recommendations to sales reps and customers.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as Sales Manager of Consumer Goods (FMCG).
  • Related degree in Marketing, Business or Merchandising.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, decision making, project management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Engaging, friendly, sales personality.
  • Enjoys in-person sales, over the phone sales, and email correspondence.
