About the position

Univision Sacramento is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead the sales team and act as a liaison between outside sales offices and television stations in Fresno, Bakersfield, and Sacramento. This role involves negotiating with clients, forecasting national sales revenue, and evaluating sales office performance. The National Sales Manager will also be responsible for developing new business and collaborating with local sales teams to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with clients and national sales offices to drive revenue and share growth.
  • Forecast national sales revenue by office.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of national sales office performance.
  • Evaluate national sales assistants regularly.
  • Develop new business and set goals for target accounts.
  • Monitor progress of zero and low accounts.
  • Collaborate with Local Sales Team on client calls.
  • Create weekly management reports on billing and call activity.
  • Plan and execute travel for sales activities.
  • Identify, assign, and monitor progress of accounts to national account executives.
  • Facilitate the creation and implementation of multi-platform sales proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or marketing or previous advertising/media sales experience.
  • 5-10 years in broadcast sales and 3+ years in broadcast sales management.
  • Prior experience in the Political Media eco-system.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing and executing new business initiatives.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of television applications such as Strata and Matrix CMR.

  • Familiarity with FCC filings and compliance processes.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and professional presence.
  • Proven track record of success in media sales.
