About the position

Goya Foods Inc, a leading global food company, is seeking a National Sales Marketing Coordinator to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting the National Accounts Sales team by developing marketing and sales presentations, strategies, and objectives, particularly with a focus on enhancing the eCommerce Channel. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a solid understanding of marketing techniques, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in all tasks. As a National Sales Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for conducting research to identify new potential customers and market opportunities. You will also create, update, and maintain Goya product images and item content across all eCommerce platforms, ensuring accuracy and enhancing the brand's digital presence. Participation in the development of strategic marketing and advertising programs aimed at driving sales on the Goya brand store and Amazon brand store will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will assist in preparing presentations and marketing materials for the sales team, analyze data related to demographics, pricing, promotions, and trends, and evaluate promotional campaigns by analyzing key metrics. Your role will also involve setting up tracking systems for promotional programs and acting as a liaison between the National Sales Department and Goya's Marketing team. Monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports will be prepared by you to provide insights and identify opportunity gaps.

Responsibilities

  • Perform research to identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Effectively create, update, and maintain Goya product images and item content on all eCommerce platforms to ensure accuracy and strengthen the brand's overall digital presence
  • Participate in the creation and development of strategic marketing and advertising programs focused on driving sales on the Goya brand store and Amazon brand store
  • Assist in the development of presentations and marketing materials for the sales team
  • Analyze data, demographics, pricing, promotions, trends, and any other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
  • Evaluate and monitor promotional and marketing campaigns on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports providing insights and opportunity gaps
  • Setup tracking systems to monitor all promotional programs implemented by the National Sales Managers
  • Be the liaison between the National Sales Department and Goya's Marketing team
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Detail oriented with solid organizational skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
  • Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis
  • Personable team player who demonstrates professionalism under pressure with the ability to work and succeed in a fast moving, high paced business environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format
  • Experience in eCommerce a plus, but not required
