About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team at FPPF Chemical Co. in Buffalo, NY. This full-time position involves driving sales growth through direct engagement with clients, managing accounts, and developing new business opportunities, particularly in the diesel engines and heavy-duty truck parts industry. The role requires 50% travel and offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct direct sales activities to achieve sales targets within assigned territories.
  • Engage in telephone and email work tied to setting appointments and follow up.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that enhance business development efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in direct sales, territory sales, or account management (2 years required).
  • Familiarity with inside sales techniques and cold calling strategies is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are preferred.
  • Counter experience at a Heavy Duty Truck parts store is a plus.
  • Experience in conducting product demos and presentations is beneficial.
