About the position

The position of Native American Spiritual Leader is a permanent, full-time role located in San Joaquin County. The individual will be responsible for providing spiritual guidance and support to individuals in the care of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). This role is essential in promoting successful community reintegration through education, treatment, and active participation in rehabilitative and restorative justice programs. The position requires participation in the Civil Service examination process and/or interviews, dependent on the determination of minimum qualifications. The salary range for this position is $5,576.00 - $7,321.00.

Requirements

• Possession of Minimum Qualifications as verified prior to interview and/or appointment.
• A letter of certification of good standing issued by a Native American Tribe, Nation, Band, or Rancheria.
