About the position

The Native Media Buyer at Launch Potato is responsible for planning, strategizing, launching, and scaling Native advertising campaigns across various platforms. This role focuses on managing a significant Native Advertising budget, optimizing campaigns for multiple brands, and contributing to the overall user acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record in Native advertising, particularly with platforms like Taboola and Outbrain.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and eventually own Native media buying efforts for multiple brands.
  • Plan, strategize, launch, and scale Native campaigns across platforms.
  • Manage high budget native media campaigns on ad networks such as Taboola, Outbrain, and RevContent.
  • Research and establish new traffic source opportunities and ad networks.
  • Design compelling ad creatives and winning copy targeting specific audiences.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams on optimization and A/B testing.
  • Contribute to the evolution of media buying best practices and create a native paid media playbook.
  • Assist with hiring and scaling the paid media team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Native advertising.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and making campaign decisions based on analysis.
  • Expertise with Taboola or Outbrain.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups) and data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Deep understanding of direct-response marketing principles.
