About the position

As a Naval Combat Systems Integration Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development, testing, acquisition, and integration of ship combat systems. Your extensive experience in defense missions will be instrumental in addressing some of the most complex challenges faced by our clients, particularly in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of naval operations. You will be involved in all phases of the combat systems development lifecycle, which includes requirements development, system design, performance analysis, testing, systems of systems integration, sustainment, and logistics. In this position, you will work collaboratively within a team environment, providing technical support and insights on behalf of the Navy program office. Your contributions will be vital in supporting combat systems development, acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and readiness assessments. You will leverage your combat systems experience to provide inputs that enhance the operational capabilities of naval forces. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of performance and safety in defense operations. Your expertise will not only help in the integration of advanced technologies but also in ensuring that the systems meet the rigorous demands of military operations. Responsibilities

  • Support the development, testing, acquisition, and integration of ship combat systems.
  • Provide technical support and inputs on behalf of the Navy program office throughout all phases of the combat systems development lifecycle.
  • Engage in requirements development, system design, performance analysis, testing, systems of systems integration, sustainment, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to support combat systems development, acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and readiness assessments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with combat systems for the DoD or U.S. Navy as a civilian, military personnel, or contractor.
  • Experience with Military networks, sensors, and weapons system integration.
  • Experience with Ship Self Defense System (SSDS).
  • Experience with Strategic Planning.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with developing dashboards, databases, or data science tools, including Microsoft Power Apps or SharePoint.
  • Experience with Aegis Combat System.
  • Experience with U.S. Navy platforms, combat and networked systems, surface and air-launched weapons, C4I, Sensors, and EW systems.
  • Experience with NAVSEA and Naval Surface Warfare Center programs.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and logistics policies and procedures.
  • TS/SCI clearance preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Mathematics, Physics, or an engineering field preferred; Master's degree in CS, Mathematics, Physics, or an engineering field a plus.
