About the position

T2S Solutions is seeking a NAVWAR Database Administrator to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). This role is crucial in enhancing the Department of Defense's navigation warfare mission, focusing on ensuring positioning, navigation, and timing superiority. The position involves providing database support, developing data management protocols, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR for combatant and joint force commanders.
• Develop protocols for data processing and handling in compliance with customer standards.
• Analyze database systems during the planning, design, evaluation, and execution of JNWC functions.
• Monitor databases to ensure optimal storage and usability.
• Develop data management architecture, software plans, documentation, and configuration management plans.
• Understand cross-domain solutions as it applies to database management and data integrity.
• Experience developing and maintaining classified databases within the DoD or intel community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant, classified database administration experience.
• Current DoD issued security clearance.
• Relevant certification such as IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2, MS SQL Server database certification, Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL Database Administrator, or industry equivalent.
• Knowledge of DoD security regulations, policy and procedures.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team.
