About the position

The NAVWAR Operations Analyst will support operations at Kirtland AFB, focusing on identifying how NAVWAR can provide strategic advantages in various warfighting functions. This role involves conducting detailed threat analyses and assessments to identify risks, gaps, and vulnerabilities, and recommending appropriate mitigations and countermeasures.

Responsibilities

• Support NAVWAR from an operational level.
• Identify where NAVWAR can provide an advantage offensively or defensively across all warfighting functions.
• Conduct detailed threat analysis and assessments against national and global threats.
• Identify risks, gaps, and vulnerabilities in operations.
• Recommend mitigations and countermeasures based on analysis.

Requirements

• Interim Secret Clearance, with the ability to hold up to TS/SCI.
• Graduate of a military Intermediate Level Education (ILE) course or Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS).
• Bachelor's degree in military operations/leadership, modeling and simulation, computer science, math, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience for Junior level; 7+ years for Mid-Level; 10+ years for Senior level.
