About the position

The Navy Account Executive at CSA is responsible for driving business development activities to identify and qualify new opportunities, particularly within the Navy enterprise IT, program management, and mission support sectors. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills who can manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will oversee capture management, proposal support, and marketing efforts, ensuring a smooth transition from opportunity identification to proposal development and award.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business leads through industry tools and relationships.
  • Communicate initial win concepts to executive management.
  • Develop and execute customer call plans to qualify opportunities.
  • Perform analysis on opportunities to assess CSA's qualifications.
  • Update leadership regularly on the status of pursuits.
  • Conduct capture activities to maintain favored status with customers.
  • Lead capture team activities and manage solution development.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to create technical and management solutions.
  • Prepare teaming partner justifications for leadership approval when needed.
  • Support the development, review, and submission of proposals.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with partner businesses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
  • 10+ years of experience in capturing and closing business opportunities in Federal and Civilian domains.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with a preference for organizing information clearly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex issues to a C-Suite audience.
  • Detailed understanding of enterprise IT, program management support services, and acquisition dynamics at relevant agencies.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and conduct qualification analysis based on Shipley methods.
  • Experience closing single-award deals over $10M+ annually.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills related to business development and capture management.
  • Communication skills for customer interaction and formal presentations to senior decision makers.
  • Experience in analyzing and selecting teaming partners and negotiating agreements.
  • Established relationships with domestic customers and government organizations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US government procurement practices and the BD lifecycle.
