About the position
The Navy Qualified Validator II position at Risk Mitigation Consulting (RMC) is a full-time remote role focused on providing Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Support Services. The role involves ensuring compliance with the DoD Information Assurance Certification & Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF), as well as validating cybersecurity policies and artifacts. The position is integral to enhancing security for military and commercial partners, contributing to RMC's mission of Assuring Tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Provide Cybersecurity/Information Assurance Support Services including DIACAP and RMF services.
- Review Assurance Assessment and Authorization (A&A) artifacts and perform A&A validation.
- Implement security postures and provide Subject Matter Expertise in cybersecurity life cycle management.
- Coordinate, implement, and sustain A&A processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
- Seven (7) years of practical experience in a cybersecurity or A&A related field.
- Experience in implementing and/or reviewing RMF lifecycle documentation.
- Ability to ensure/validate the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and information.
- Conduct risk and vulnerability reviews and assessments.
