About the position

As a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer at ANS Residential Mortgage, you will play a crucial role in originating mortgage loans by guiding customers through the entire loan process from application to closing. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and a thorough understanding of mortgage products. You will work closely with clients to assess their financial situations and goals, providing them with suitable mortgage options and assisting them in selecting the best product for their needs. Your expertise in mortgage products, strong customer service skills, and adherence to regulatory guidelines will contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding service and exceeding client expectations. In this role, you will conduct thorough assessments of prospective borrowers' financial circumstances to determine eligibility and advise on appropriate mortgage products. You will educate clients on the various loan programs available, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM loan options, explaining terms, rates, and costs associated with each option. Guiding clients through the loan application process, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation, collaborating with underwriters, processors, and closing teams to facilitate a smooth and timely loan approval and closing process. Maintaining regular communication with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners will be essential to provide updates on loan status and address any concerns. You will be expected to meet or exceed production goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and changes in lending guidelines will also be a key part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Current and valid NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) license in North Carolina.
  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or similar role, with a successful track record of loan originations.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan products and guidelines, including compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to evaluate financial information and determine suitability for loan programs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
