About the position

The NC Pre-K Subsidy Coordinator at Smart Start Rowan is responsible for providing administrative support to the NC Pre-K program in Rowan County. This role involves ensuring compliance with program standards, monitoring child eligibility, and supporting data collection and reporting efforts. The coordinator will work closely with the county planning team and be involved in site selection and classroom quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Rowan County's NC Pre-K program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.

• Experience in a NC Pre-K classroom setting is desired.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work as a team player.
• A clean driving record and use of a personal vehicle.
